Yum Cha.

Author: cc  |  Category: food and drink

Yesterday was public holiday, we went to our favourite restaurant in the city for yum cha. K’s favourite activity. Hehee. We were there at about 2pm and missed out on a lot of our favourite dim sum dishes because it was near closing time. Someone was responsible because she overslept! (me!) Anyway, we still enjoyed the food and here are some photos for your viewing pleasure. :)

    When they stared at you like crazy you were a crazy woman, you just give your sweetest smile to them loh. Like that they’ll forget what you are doing actually. :P

    cc, Melb’s yumchar/timsum is the best. Truelah…..even better than most restaurants in HK. I am sure the one you went to is also good just looking at the photos. UK one ah….’lau sai’! Hehehe.
    Somehow, KL’s yumchar/timsum is different from HK one…the taste and texture not the same but still nice in it’s own way.

  14. Dr ve Thru Says:

    cc, forgot…

    when we go yumchar, my have ‘har cheong’, lopak ko (my daughter’s favourite), siew mai, har gow, hum suey kok, wu kok, NOT MR KOK ok? Hehehe…. make me hungry only!

  15. Kok Says:

    Eh eh…I heard someone call me! :P

    I’ve been to Melbourne twice as My sister in law live there. She brought us to the best yam cha in Melbourne, Shark Fin House on little burke street. It was good, but I still find Grand Harbour in Auckland better. :P Their ‘tofu flower’ is to die for! (is that what you call it in english? Not sure of the english name}

    Kok
    Had I done that, they would sure stop staring, coz they’d be sure I was crazy. Haha…
