I am like Firehorse’s situation too. My hubby’s the emo one and I am the brief one. I am not very good in expressing myself… just like a guy. My hubby’s very good in that dept. Too good and long winded – most of the time.

Geeky talk’s not a barrier to me. In fact, I totally dig it. Sometimes me and my hubby would spend a long period of time just discussing on a certain hardware/software etc etc. Anyhoo, I am counting my blessing that I am not married to a soccer fan My hubby doesn’t exactly fancy sports of any kind. He would watch wrestling or car races at times tho. But that’s ok… cos’ I kinda like car races as well.

Because men only focus on “main point”, whereas women need to tell from the beginning to the end and not miss out any single detail because each and every words are “main point”.

Haha.
I faced this everyday.
When my wife ask me to buy groceries, it will definitely came up with some error.
And when she buy something for me, it will have errors too.
It is not about male or female.
It is … human just don’t have a good way of communication.
Probably this problem only can be partially solve when we can ‘beam’ our thought, as and when necessary, into the intended recipient.

I would say that my mind is half-half. I can talk about shopping, clothes, boys, makeup, etc etc and also computers, football, games, etc etc. Like a gal friend of mine noted “you seem to speak the language (of the guys) very well.”

Guys are actually pretty simple to figure out. Its when we girls overanalyze that makes it complicated
