What have I been up to? Well, I’ve been bitten by the home redecoration bug, so have been spending every free moment, redecorating around the house. Did I mention I love home deco? I do! Most people dread moving house, all the packaging and the cleaning chores drive them crazy. Well, not me. I love packing and cleaning, I see it as a chance to rediscover the bits and pieces that have been packed away and forgotten. It’s also a great chance to decorate another new place! What more can a girl ask for?! Oh, I’m so growing into a neat freak. It’s hard to believe this is a girl who couldn’t even manage to keep her bedroom floor free from clutter growing up. Really, when I was a teenager, my bedroom floor was literally covered by everything imaginable. My dad even threaten to publish the photo he took, to no avail of course. Ha. My parents must be so proud now, they must not in their wildest dream have thought that their little girl would grow up to be a neat freak today. So parents out that, there’s no need to sweat over your teenagers’ messy rooms, all hope is not lost. Heh.

I love the old country look in home deco. Spent countless hours online and offline hunting for that aged pieces with a story behind it. I love to look at that light scratch or worn part of the furniture, they tell a story and add much character to them. A clean freak who loves old pieces, can you imagine how much cleaning go into each piece before it’s deemed usable again?! Here I share bit and pieces of my humble abode, a place I can feel totally relax and at ease; a place filled with love and joy.

Wow, that’s a lot of work figuring out how to do that thumbnail thing. Ha. Actually it’s easy, just took me some time to figure that out. Now, I invite you to share your home photos with me too.

I was going to write a reasonably long post, so quickly ran to the kitchen to make myself a nice and warm lemon drink(summer is coming, have to cool down first ma), rushed upstairs to the office, adjusted the seat(some tall giant was sitting on it before me shorty ler) and sat down comfortably. Eh, why the speed slow like turtle one? Dammit, someone went overenthusiastic in downloading movie data and used up all the bandwidth for today. My stupid package only allows me 2 G per day, exceeds that, and get promptly reduced to 64k for a day, like stone age like dat! So no show for my gazillion photos now, it takes eternity to just log onto my photobucket account. Come back later for nice nice photos ok?!

Have you ever played the game of hide and seek when you were little? I remembered that I loved this game as a kid. A group of us would run around looking for places to hide on the count of 10. Though the point of the game is to hide, what gave me the adrenaline rush were the moments my friends found me. It felt good to be remembered and had people looking for you.

I supposed in the vast and seemingly illusory space of worldwide web, people grow accustomed to those who come and go. We seem to know someone online to a certain a level but there’s really no definite realness to hold on to. For the period of time this blog went into idle mood, I rested my mind holding on to this belief. Who in the world would care for the lost of a tiny dot on the supreme map right? Only I was wrong, for that I am truly sorry. Thanks for you who care and came looking. All these while I thought I enjoyed being alone, but your care broke that vicious cycle. It might not seem much but sometimes a little gesture can make all the difference. For that, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I guess such is life, sometimes we fall down, but what matters is to pick up the pieces and move on. There is always tomorrow to look forward to. Thank you for showing me that.

It took a while, but I am back.

I was admiring the whole new look of my home interior the other day but got totally gobsmacked when I went to the garage area. The good old concrete floor is covered with unsightly oil stains and cracks. God knows I’ve spent all the time decorating the interior of the house and totally neglected the garage flooring! Well, it’s never too late to savage that good old floor! Help is always not far away, a few clicks of the mouse and I found this perfect shade of red garage floor tile to revamp and give my garage a whole new look. Now, that ’s what I call a complete look.
