This is so interesting and I have friends (N.Zealander) whom we met while on a Russian trip and I do know that it is a slow pace country.

What with Lord of the Ring, NZ has suddenly become very popular. I have not been there but I think I would someday.

Chinnee shouldn’t not have worried! NZ is infested with Asians…and in some places, so many that you wouldn’t think u’re in ang-moh land!…I was there to visit my brother 2 years ago…and I bought that “How to prepare a kiwi” t-shirt for my daughter! She wanted it! Thought it was kinda cruel/violent! LOL!!! And yes, Philip! NZ would be a haven for photographers! A beautiful country (Not like Oz! LOL!!!).

I want to ask a question, “Which country do you prefer, Malaysia or New Zealand?”. If career and money is not an issue.

I want to visit New Zealand! I actually like the natural beauty which I bet NZ has a lot.

CC: I prefer Malaysian food with NZ weather and relaxing environment. Hehe.
I might be bias, but after visiting Australia, I still think New Zealand has better scenery.

You didn’t mention if you have visited the Lord of The Rings filming sites!

CC: There are a few rural area in Queenstown I’ve been to, not the private farm where they set up the hobbiton though. It has become a tourist attraction. Might go this summer.

CC, now I know you are a PR in NZ. When hubby applied for a job transfer to Auckland, I was so worried I’ll be lonely there. But anyway, he did not get the transfer for the time being (good also since the babies are coming along!)
