Reflection of light on my old camera lens. click photo to enlarge.
A match of light can illuminate even the most impermeable darkness.
Where there’s light, there’s hope.
Happy Birthday my homeland, the place that always tucks my heartstrings.

Btw, my birthday greeting to your mum must be in your spam box. 🙁
CC: I have ‘rescued’ it! 😀
Let there be light…so that all can see how important it is that everybody lives in unity, peace and harmony.
CC: If we hold on to that thought long enough, with perseverance, it will come true.
Creative. *clap clap*
CC: Thank you! *bow*
And light you will find at every end of the tunnel.
I totally forgotten that today is the 31st :p. Happy Birthday to our homeland :).
CC: Happy Merdeka! 😀
Politics aside, I’m very much a proud Malaysian. Happy birthday Malaysia.

so where do you celebrate ?
If you are in oversea then I assume you can’t even count down 😛 But it’s ok as long you have the heart for your country hehee
CC: Why not? We can do count down regardless of where we are! 😀
Merdeka! Happy National Day!
Happy Merdeka!!! Great picture! Nikon D90 is out, but it’s too expensive.
CC: The new function to shoot video is great!

You’ve got talent babe…. you never fail to amaze me with your photos and words. Really good one, you know!! I love it lots!
CC: Oh, it means so much to me, especially coming from a great writer. Thank you for your encouraging words, they are melody to my soul. 😀
Your BD wish for Malaysia sounds so much more positive!! (slightly guilty grin)
The pix looks almost…. spiritual! 🙂
CC: Positive or not, it’s what’s in our hearts that count! We all want the best for your beloved homeland. 😀
Happy Birthday Neighbour 🙂
I think when everyone was boozing themselve silly on Merdeka Day/nite, I was snoozing my eyeballs out. But, however we celebrate it,and whereever we celebrate it, Happy Merdeka Day
CC: Merdeka or not people will always find excuses to booze. Happy Merdeka! 😀
what a sad merdeka 🙁 yeah i was in complete darkness after my purse got pick-pocketed. then i suddenly found some cash that i kept at home which i have long forgotten, now, it is the light in darkness for me
CC: Oh, sorry to hear that. Well, all is not lost, there’s a happy ending for you. Like the Chinese saying goes, 賽翁失馬，焉知非福。(When you loss something, it maybe a blessing in disguise)
Very creative indeed! I believe that somewhere in the darkest night, a candle glows…
CC: Thanks! I like the way you say it. 🙂
The photo is lovely..yes Happy Merdeka!
CC: Thank you. Happy national day! 😀
Hey Cc! Wouldn’t disappear without saying Good bye to you first. :-))
Happy Merdeka. I definitely benefited from the Merdeka Sales this year on our visit to Malaysia. *grin* Lord! that country is HOT!!! *phew!* :-))
BTW, do you have a facebook account? I could then share with you the the pictures i’d uploaded from our vacation, the Proboscis monkeys, the Orangutans, the cities and such..Not that you wouldn’t have seen it all already…:-)) And of course, our very first traditional Malaysian wedding experience. :-))
It’s good to be back in Japan, though! :-))
CC: Hello KC! Long time! I’ll email you about my facebook later. Can’t wait to see them! 😀
i like ur blog’s photos:)
n oso luv the happy birthday song, wat is the name of the song?
CC: Thank you! That song is Happy Birthday by New kids on the block.
Hope to see you around. 😀
How appropriate, the camera bears silent witness as a candle is lit. Malaysia is at a turning point in its history and we are its witnesses.
CC: Thank you! You interpreted my message exactly. 🙂
woow, what a nice photo u have!!
CC: Hello Victor, thanks for visiting. 🙂
Happy belated Merdeka! But our country has become the most racist in the world nowadays!
CC: Same to you! Let’s not generalise the nation due to behaviours of a small group of people. 🙂
