Beautifully written, sweetie.

I was once brought to a dairy farm. I was so excited, expecting to see Dutch ladies with wooden buckets on their heads. Didn’t happen, and I kept on stepping into cow poo. :/

My love for dairy cows hasn’t tainted one bit, I’d just much prefer them minus the poo.

Sometimes we connect with animals when we look them in the eyes. Probably because the eyes is the window to our souls. And I think the cow here could sense it when it looked into your eyes.

Cows like can only be found in NZ, Malaysia’s cows are grey in colour.

This is wonderful! Cows really do seem to have such old souls and they move so slow. This is why I am vegetarian, my empathy for animals is so strong.
Thanks for the links about the mid-autumn festival. I feel silly that I have never heard of it because it is an important Chinese holiday, but this is what I love about blogging. Getting to know the everyday experiences and celebrations of people all over the world and making new friends!
