You can even set the period of time for your pictures to display and how you would like the transition between pictures to be like. How’s that for viewing photos in the 21st century!
For those of you who have to sit in front of the computer all day long, you’d know how important a good computer chair is. It practically can make or break you. OK, maybe not that dramatic, but well, it is very important. To me, a good computer chair is essential, as I am glued to the computer every possible moment. In the weekends, you can expect me to zoom right to the computer from the moment I wake up till I go to sleep. Only pry myself from it during meal times and toilet breaks. Yes, I can be that crazy. So you see the point for me to have a good computer chair.
When my old chair broke after 4 years of faithful service, MR K and I decided to get a better quality chair. Of course, within a reasonable price range. We searched high and low and finally found the perfect one at an office furniture store. They sell all sorts of chairs, with arm, armless, mesh, fabric, leather, you name it, and they have it. I think I sat on the most chairs in my life during the choosing process. Browsed until my head also pening (spinning) already. We literally spent hours in there sitting on different chairs. Haha.
Anyway, after hours of trying, we finally narrowed down to this spectacular chair Genesis by Ergoform. The moment I sat on it, I know it is the one. Apparently it is an ergonomic chair that is built to follow the shape of your body and provides maximum support for long hours of sitting and comes with a 10 year warranty. Of course, good things all come with a price tag. 3 hours and NZ$700+ lesser later, we were done. Who knows buying a computer chair can also be so complicated. I don’t care much for the descriptions, I just want a comfy chair to sit on and don’t feel sore on my buttocks after a few hours. That’s it.
So, there you have it, my chair story. ;P

I know it’s no Herman Miller, but still, very comfortable. In fashionable orange micro-suede too.
p/s: Special thanks to my sponsor MR ATM.

Today, I eat-too-full-nothing-to-do, so was going around the house and taking aimless shots. Here’s a photo of my nightstand, one my favourite corner in the house. It’s nothing fancy really, but I just love this little table by my bed. It’s a small DIY table painted in distressed style. Here’s what typically found on my nightstand.
My lovely touch lamp
Nothing fancy really, just a lamp that can be found anywhere. Turn on and off by touching the gold tinted part. Three level of brightness.
St Ives whipped silk body lotion
I swear by this product. Cannot live through winter without this.
Crabtree & Evelyn Lavender hand lotion
Use it everyday before I go to bed. The smell is heavenly.
Little pewter trinket
This one is here for my knicks-knacks, like rings etc. A little engagement gift from my dear friend.
Cellphone
Ofcourse, my reliable Nokia 5300.
Hairbrush
Something I can’t live without. First thing I do after waking up is to brush my hair. I am almost obsessive about it.
ipod mini
And it’s pink! Haha. A little gift from Mr K quite some time ago. I bring it everywhere I go. My sleeping buddy if you will.
That’s it, just a few essential things. Now, share with me, what’s on your nightstand?

I love to shop, but what I love more is to search for some reviews on the products that I am going to buy and have a good read through. There is nothing more confusing than wanting to buy something but having a hard time comparing between different brands and deciding on which one to buy. Especially electronics, which come in gazillions of different functions. I believe there are a lot of people out there who share the same views about this. Now, this is where product reviews sites come in handy. If you don’t know, a product reviews site is for consumers to share their opinions and experiences on products they have bought and tried. Sounds cool isn’t it? I love to check out the pros & cons about a product before I spend my hard-earned cash on it. So review sites are like godsend to me.
There are many such sites online, one of them caught my eyes recently. It is called TestFreaks. What a catchy name! It is still a beta site, but is set to be launched and functional in full mode in a few months. Test Freaks is a site specialising in accumulating reviews on electronics. You can expect to read reviews from all over the world regarding all sorts of electronics, like camcorder, cameras, mp3 players, cell phones etc.
For example, If you are looking to read some reviews on LCD TV, you can locate all the brands under lcd tvs. Woola, all the brands available in the market are arranged alphabetically. Just choose the brand you’re interested and read on!
For me, the most useful and practical feature is the top 10 products lists. One can easily find out which brand is the most sought after and comes highly recommended by both consumers and professionals. So go on and try on the beta, and start to count down on the full version launch! I know I will.

I’ve been tagged! Vortrack you evil s…. just kidding! I love movies, so no problems for me to list 5 movies I’ve watched. I’m going to list 5 I’ve watched more than once here.

Three Seasons
A touching movie portraits Vietnam society after war. Pieced together by 3 beautiful stories about loss and redemption. I highly recommend this movie. Click here for more information.
A little trivia: I actually watched this with K. It was our first ‘date’ right before we started going out. We both teared up in the little cinema. Both bought the same poster which is framed and proudly being displayed in our living room.
???? Days of Being Wild
A Wong Kar Wai film (one of my favourite director). With casting like Leslie Cheung, Maggie Cheung, and Jacky Cheung, this is a film shouldn’t be missed by fans of cult genre.
Scream
Great horror flick by Wes Craven. The same man who brought to you Nightmare on Elm Street. I must have watched this one like a hundred times. Haha… I like this movie a lot. Bought the trilogy box set from Amazon few years ago. Sometimes when I’m doing house work, I have it on in the background. Give me thrills. What a freak! Haha…

Psycho (the original1960)
This this the classic horror/thriller film made by the legendary Alfred Hitchcock. It’s so great that watching it today still gives some pretty shocking impact. Do you dare to spend a night in Bate’s Motel?!
I also love Hitchcock’s other masterpiece, Rear Window.

The Shining
Directed by the brilliant Stanley Kubrick and starring the ever so magnificent Jack Nicholson.
And I quote the tag line
A Masterpiece Of Modern Horror.
OK, that concludes the 5 movies I’ve watched (at least 5 times each haha). They are also my favourite movies of all time.
Can you tell I have a thing for cult and horror films?!
Came across a series of photographs by artist Daniela Edburg. I like her idea of using elements from our everyday-life. Very creative. See the rest of the series and the article here.
