I have been wanting to do this for a while. After a long procrastination, here goes the list.
A special thank to Kleio over at A Hermit Muse (which by the way is a great blog) for adding me to the list. It’s basically a lists of blog links added by bloggers to help with page rank. Kleio explained the list better than I could, so please pop over to read if you don’t know what this is about. Anyone who’s interested are welcome to participate too. Let’s do some good people!
(copied from Kleio)
**Instructions**
The premise is simple:
Write a post, and copy and paste my list from below into it. Make sure the links are active and correct. If your blog is on that list, remove it because your post isnt about self-promotion. Dont worry, because if your name is on mine, its on others and will spread. Add your favourite deserving blogs to the top of the list (not compulsory). Publish the post. People will notice the incoming links, and hopefully write their own z-list posts. The result will be that we all get more links pointing to our blogs, and more readers – got to be good!
Key Points:
1) Create a new post on your blog.
2) Copy and Paste the entire list of blog links below
3) Add any blogs that you want to include near the top of the list. (Optional)
4) Include the blog where you first got the list from, on the list in your post.
5) Do not include your own blog links on the list in your post.
6) Make sure that all links are copied intact.
7) Publish the Post.

Yes, as you might have noticed, some changes have been done on this blog since it was created on the last day of 2006. For one, I have been thinking for a while and have decided to try out payperpost. Yes, all because of the evil of all sources, $$$. That’s right, I am very money minded and vain; yes I am easily tempted; and yes yes yes for whatever you’re going to throw at me, I am guilty.
Seriously though, I view this as a good opportunity to earn some side income and gain some much needed help in our finances. I thought about it hard before taking the plunge and signing up. I wasn’t sure whether I am good enough to deliver what they want. But as it turns out, it’s really not that hard. A few easy words, and you’re done! This gotta be one of the easiest thing to do with your blog, with money! I really love it! Though I have just started and only have written a few ppp, but the experience has been nothing but thrilling. The joy of getting my posts approved, the excitement of waiting for the money to roll into my account, pure estacy! It is really that easy. I understand a lot of people don’t want to let the blog advertising interfere with their original blog content but I really don’t see any problem, as long as you still post regularly. Why not get a little something back from doing what you love?! So, wait no further, jump on the ppp wagon today and start making some mola!

I discovered a company called money4blogs recently. Their plan is simple, they pay for a text link to be place on your site. Very easy, a few clicks and it’s done. First, go to their website and fill in a simple form to submit your site. They will review it and send an email with an offer. If you choose to accept the offer, just reply the email and get the code to put on your site. As soon as the link goes live, you get paid! The amount you receive is based on the page rank of your site. The payment is via PayPal or check. Simple as 123.
I have personally tried this and received payment via PayPal as soon as I put up the link. If you want to know how the link looks like, it is on my sidebar under sponsored links.
note: I don’t get paid writing about this, just want to share with those of you interested in getting a quick buck or two.

As you can see I have added a line ad and referral buttons on the blog. Decided to try out AdSense, just for the heck of it. Oh well, who am I kidding, of course the ultimate goal is the same as everyone else; to earn some side income. Seeing that my blog is still very new, I am just hoping that it will help to generate a wider audience at this point. I aim to place the ad subtlety and hope it doesn’t interfere with the flow of the main content.
I don’t know, still pretty uncertain about this. Please kindly share your experiences and opinions with me.

On a day of my usual blog hopping, I came across this blog. It spotted a banner of flashy cars. On my first impression, I thought to myself, oh great another egoistic flaunting blog. Well, it turned out not to be the case.
The blog author John Chow is a self-titled dot com mogul. The blog recorded his various subjects of interest, from his daily go-about, random thoughts to sharing his knowledge on how to make money blogging. Unlike some of the blogs with the similar content out there with dead serious tell-you-what-to-do ways, John uses a more approachable, easy-going tone. What came across the posts is a sincere, creative and humorous person with guy-next-door quality who shares his trials and errors of making money online generously. I really enjoyed browsing through his archives and have learned a lot about things like blog monetizing and Search Engine Optimization (SEO). As a newbie to the blogsphere, his blog really opened my eyes to the endless possibilities.
The only problem I came upon is the search function, its result is not specific enough. It’ll be better if it can be more specific. But nonetheless, a great blog not to be missed. Especially for dummy newbie out there like me.
I truly enjoy and learned many things from his site and hope you would too. Of course, the added bonus from him doesn’t hurt either.
